A BLACK Isle hall is promising "45 minutes of fun-filled dance" as a High Life Highland programme is extended to reach a wider audience.

The Black Isle Leisure Centre is extending its programme to the North Kessock Village Hall.

The new offering will commence on Tuesday, November 14 with a first Zumba session from 6pm onwards.

Ian Goode, High Life Highland’s leisure manager for the Black Isle Leisure Centre, said: “The team has yet another new offering from the Black Leisure Centre, but this time we are reaching out to the community around North Kessock to deliver a Zumba class in the village hall.

“This exciting extension of our programme comes with a few perks! Our existing highlife membership will be able to access these new classes at no additional cost, and there will also be a ‘pay as you go’ option in place for £7.50.

“However, if you are not an all-inclusive highlife member, we have a limited time manager’s ‘special offer’ running where you can attend the class at half price. We are anticipating that these classes will be popular, particularly with the limited time half price option, so don’t hesitate to take up this offer whilst it lasts!

“In addition, we will be offering concessional and budget prices, starting from as little as 50p to ensure that classes remain as inclusive and accessible to members of our local community as possible. With this new class, it is now possible for highlife members, as well as members of the public, to take part in Zumba classes on Tuesday’s, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays – either at the Black Isle Leisure Centre or the Leanaig Centre in Ben Wyvis Primary school.

“With this kind of flexibility, there is always a class happening somewhere during those four days each week.”

Graeme Ross, High Life Highland’s head of leisure, said: “It is such an honour to be able to extend the Black Isle Leisure Centre’s offering to the North Kessock Village Hall. In doing so, we hope to see existing highlife members taking advantage of this new included benefit, as well as members of the public taking up the Manager’s ‘special offer’ or considering a highlife membership for future sessions.”

Bookings open Monday (November 6) from 10pm onwards.
