Which of these many Groam House Museum 'superhero' roles could YOU take on at Rosemarkie attraction?
AN acclaimed Black Isle museum which showcases a world-renowned collection has shared a volunteer wish list ahead of the new season.
Groam House Museum has been busy during the quiet winter months preparing for re-opening on March 25.
The award-winning, independent museum in Rosemarkie houses Pictish and Celtic art and is home to the magnificent 2.6m high Rosemarkie cross-slab, an 8th century sculpted stone elaborately carved with enigmatic Pictish symbols and Christian crosses.

The museum says is looking to embrace many exciting opportunities in the coming year and needs your help to make it all happen.
As a small, local, independent, volunteer-driven museum, it’s the incredible group of committed volunteers who are the heart and soul of this museum. Groam House is now looking to recruit many additional volunteers this year, and hopes you’ll consider becoming a “Groamie”.
The work is varied and sociable, and joining the volunteer team is an excellent way of making friends and learning new skills. There are also special benefits for volunteers, including coffee mornings, history group outings, shop concessions, use of the museum library and more.
Time spent volunteering could be as little as a couple of hours a month, or many more. No skills or experience is necessary, training and support is provided, and travel reimbursement is available in some situations.
