A BREAK-in at Strathpeffer Golf Club has sparked a police appeal for information.

Officers are seeking information and witnesses to the incident, which is believed to have happened in the early hours of Wednesday.

Entry was forced to the club. Nothing was stolen but items within the clubhouse were disturbed.

Detective Constable Aggie Paluch said: "We would ask anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity around the Strathpeffer area to let us know.

"If you can help please call 101, quoting NE3618/19, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
