FIREFIGHTERS have wished the best for a colleague in Gairloch who has retired from the service after nearly 25 years.
Past and present firefighters came together at the Sheiling Restaurant in Gairloch to mark the occasion of Allan Morrision’s retirement from the fire service, after dedicating nearly 25 years of his life to the vital emergency service.
After what was described as a “delicious” meal provided by Donald Crerar, Allan was presented with a statuette of a firefighter and monetary gift by retired crew commander, Angus Finlayson, to mark his send-off.
