Fresh CCTV images released by police investigating theft of 'significant' sum from Easter Ross ATM

New CCTV images have been released of a man police wish to speak to in connection with the theft of "significant" sums of money from a cash machine in Easter Ross.

The two images were released by Police Scotland today (Thursday) in connection with the theft from the ATM at the Morrisons supermarket in Dalmore Road, Alness in the early hours of Wednesday, April 26.

The theft occurred sometime between 1am and 4.50am, and police believe the man in the new CCTV images may be able to assist their investigation.

Detective Constable Shaun Cowan, said: “Despite significant enquiries into this theft we have not yet been able to trace those responsible.

“I would urge anyone who may recognise the man in the images, or who has any information that will assist our investigation to contact police via 101 quoting incident number 1744 of April 26.

“If you wish to remain anonymous, then please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
