Police at Dingwall were this week continuing investigations into fire-raising at the town's public toilets in Ormidale Place.

The alarm was raised about 2pm on Monday and police and the local fire brigade attended and quickly brought a small fire under control but not before a plastic toilet roll holder in one of the cubicle's was destroyed.

Police carried out door to door inquiries nearby asking if anyone saw anyone acting suspiciously.

A spokesman said inquiries are continuing and urged anyone who can assist their investigation to call 101, quoting ref NE2488/19.
