More than 60 musical artists will descend on the Inverness-based creative industries festival on June 27 and 28 when it returns for its fourth outing – having previously been known as GoNorth until its 2015 rebrand.

And north stalwarts including Lional, Tamzene and Be Like Pablo will be joined by rising Scottish stars including Annie Booth, Emme Woods and Shredd.

A selection of overseas artists will also perform through XpoNorth’s Excite Network, including Shht from Belgium and Rome is Not a Town from Sweden.

All showcases are free to attend, and each act will also be considered to perform at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival this August on the XpoNorth Seedlings stage.

Iain Hamilton, head of creative industries at Highlands and Islands Enterprise – one of XpoNorth’s chief funders – said: “XpoNorth has become firmly established as an excellent platform to showcase great new acts from all genres.

“We’re thrilled with the quality and diversity of this year’s line-up and are delighted to be presenting such a fantastic range of talent to our audience.”
