AN award-winning Ross-based arfts organisation has extended the deadline for applications to fill a full-time Gaelic officer vacancy.

Feis Rois, which is based in Dingwall and works across the Highlands, hopes to find the right person for the post by June 24.

It said: "If you are a fluent Gaelic speaker and are passionate about the arts and Gaelic language, we want to hear from you! We aren't a bad bunch to work with and there are lots of perks that come with this fantastic opportunity including lots of great music and events!"

The organisation is currently piloting a 28-hour full-time week and the post would be based at the Fèis Rois office in Dingwall and could include home working.

It's described as a fixed term contract for 12 months starting from July 1.

The post is funded by Bòrd na Gàidhlig.
