Fèis Rois Ceilidh Trail to take on Edinburgh International Festival

Fèis Rois musicians will be playing at the renowned Edinburgh International Festival this summer as a part of their 2024 Ceilidh Trail.

The Fèis Rois Ceilidh Trail, made up of 14 emerging and established trad musicians, is extra special this year as the 25th anniversary of the Ceilidh Trail.

Guests for the performance include Rachel Newton Music and Mairearad Green, who participated in the first ever Ceilidh Trail in 2000.

Fèis Rois said: "We are excited to announce that our Ceilidh Trail 2024 will be performing at Edinburgh International Festival this summer! This will be a very special concert as this year marks the 25th anniversary of the very first Fèis Rois Ceilidh Trail.

"We will be joined by some very special guests including Rachel Newton Music and Mairearad Green, who were participants on that very first Ceilidh Trail in 2000, back where it all began! We will also be joined by Mischa Macpherson and Innes White who are also former participants. It will be a great night of music and it would be lovely to see you all there to support our Ceilidh Trail participants, past and present."
