Police and Coastguard involved in search near Dingwall

EMERGENCY services have been conducting a search near a Ross-shire town.

It’s understood the coordinated effort outside Dingwall is in response to concerns for a missing person.

Police and Coastguard sent personnel to an area just north of the Maryburgh roundabout earlier this afternoon.

Police said the effort was in relation to a search for a missing person.

It’s understood the Search and Rescue helicopter from Stornoway was also sent to the scene.
