Invergordon road closure for surfacing work flagged by Highland Council ahead of five-day Easter Ross scheme

A SECTION of road in an Easter Ross town is due to be closed this week to allow for surfacing work.

Highland Council has flagged the work planned for Invergordon and scheduled to start tomorrow (Monday).

It said a section of Davidson Drive will be closed from its junction with Castle Avenue and extending to its junction with Academy Road from 8am on Monday, January 15 to 5pm on Friday, January 19.

The local authority says an alternative route for vehicular traffic is available and will be signposted.
