A TEACHER at an Easter Ross secondary school has been thanked for turning his talents to good use during the coronavirus crisis.

Innis Mhor care home has thanked Thomas Agnew of Tain Royal Academy's technical department for supplying it with some protective visors for staff to wear should they be required.

The Tain home, run by the Parklands Care Homes group, voiced its appreciation to the school and teacher on its social media channels.

Others were quick to pay tribute to Mr Agnew for his efforts.

The care home meanwhile has pledged to make the best use of technology to keep anxious relatives in touch with loves ones.

It said anyone looking for peace of mind can call or message via Facebook Messenger. It said: "We can then arrange a phone or video call with your loved one. We'll get through this together."
