St Duthus in Tain was closed today because of a fault with its water system.

A FAULT with an Easter Ross school's water system is being investigated today after it forced closure of the facility.

St Duthus school in Tain did not open today because of a failure with its water system.

A spokesperson for Highland Council said: "St Duthus school is closed today due to a failure in the water system.

"It is being investigated at present and parents will be informed by the head teacher when the school is due to reopen for pupils."
