Easter Ross event to show what services and free advice are available

A free Easter Ross event is set to show locals what services and what free advice is available in the area.

The East Ross NHS team has organised the free local event in Alness for the local and surrounding community involving a number of different agencies.

This drop-in event will allow local people to gain free advice on arranging Power of Attorney, speak to physiotherapy staff about improving mobility and reducing falls, be more informed about local events and community groups, get their blood pressure checked amongst many other things.

Taking place on January 11, 18, 25 and February 1 at the Averon Centre, the event will also have tea and coffee available.

  • Scottish Fire and Rescue
  • Harper MacLeod Solicitors
  • Highlife Highland
  • Highland Hospice
  • ILM Highland
  • Carr Gomm
  • Advocacy Highland
  • Community Nurses
  • Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service (DARS)
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physiotherapy
  • Community Mental Health Team
