AN Easter Ross community is issuing an invitation to locals to get involved in a clean-up morning followed by "a bite and a blether".

The Mansfield Hub, CCAST and the Mansfield Residents Association are hosting the event on Saturday, September 30.

From 10am to around 1pm, there's an invitation to get involved in a clean-up around individual houses and communal areas.

And then from 1pm to 3pm, the bite and blether offers an opportunity to relax and share some food and time together.

That will include soup and toasties, charged at just £1.
