AN Easter Ross chimney fire sparked a call out to firefighters based in neighbouring Invergordon tonight.

One pump was mobilised to the Shillinghill area of Alness just after 6pm this evening.

Chimney gear and a hose reel jet were used to extinguish fire before a loft inspection was carried out using a thermal image camera.
