The care home won praise following an inspection visit.

AN Invergordon care home has demonstrated major strengths which supported positive outcomes for its residents according to the Care Inspectorate.

Castle Gardens Care Home has 37 single bedrooms, three of which can be used as double rooms.

In an inspection in March the home received nearly top marks for the care and support it provides and how it plans that care and supported.

Both were assessed as 'very good' which is fifth on a scale of six in the evaluation process.

Inspectors said from their time spent with staff and clients they could see staff interacted in a positive way and they always had time to chat with people who were visiting the home.

Residents also said they were able to get out and about on the home's minibus for trips and entertainment and there were opportunities to visit the local church run Capstone centre for lunch.

There were also good links with local schools and nurseries.

During the inspection four care plans were reviewed and they had health assessments developed for all aspects of their health needs which were reviewed and updated on a regular basis

"There was good evidence that people who use the service were offered a regular review of their care plan with family present where this was appropriate."
