Drivers warned of delays due to four-vehicle crash on A9 near Raigmore interchange with A96 in Highland capital

Motorists are being warned of serious delays on approach to the Raigmore interchange due to a four-vehicle crash.

Traffic Scotland issued the warning at 4.32pm.

It stated: "Drivers are advised of a four vehicle accident on the approach to Raigmore interchange.

"Delays are forming on the approach to the roundabout from the A96. Please use caution on approach to area."

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "The call came in to us around 4pm.

"It is a four-vehicle RTC on the retail park side of the interchange.

"Police are still at the scene."
