Speed warnings issued in Ross-shire county town of Dingwall as police carry out checks in Kinnaridie Avenue and Tulloch Avenue

A NUMBER of motorists have been warned over speeding in residential areas of Dingwall.
The action by the Highland division of Police Scotland was in reaction to concerns from local residents.
This afternoon, police reported: "Police in Dingwall have been carrying out speed checks in the area of Kinnairdie Avenue and Tulloch Avenue over the past few days after issues raised by local residents regarding speeding in the area.
"In response to this a number of warnings regarding speed have been issued."
