The event was hosted at Caledonian Stadium which allowed for plenty of people to park and enjoy the films.
The stadium car park was converted into a cinema with a huge pop-up screen which is 8m high and 12m wide.
Guests tuned in their radios to hear the films from the comfort of their cars.
Films shown were Elf, Home Alone, The Grinch and Love Actually.
A food van was on site to supply snacks during the showings, and visitors enjoyed quizzes and comedy before the films.
Families, couples and friends enjoyed the night sitting in the warmth of their car.
Tickets were £35 per car.
The event proved to be popular last year as it sold out before the showings.
Callum Campbell, founder of the Drive-In Cinema, said: “We started the Drive-In Cinema in 2020 as a response to the restrictions, but have found that the events are still proving popular as everything has eased in 2021.
“We think it’s a great family or couples tradition to get out and see your favourite Christmas film every year in the comfort of your own car.”
