The strategic framework business fund grant scheme will close to new applicants on Monday.

Highland Council has assessed and approved 5178 applications for this grant fund since the start of the pandemic.

On Monday, grants to the value of £11,571,200 will be paid out to these businesses.

Andy McCann, Highland Council's economy and regeneration manager, said: “This is the last chance for businesses who are eligible for a temporary closure grant to apply.

"We urge businesses to go immediately to the council’s website and carefully read the guidance. If they believe their business is eligible, gather the bank and business evidence required and apply using our online form.”
