Cheviot wedder lambs (3,833) averaged £61.80 (+£13.94 on the year) and sold to £100 gross from Carrol Farm, Brora.
Cheviot ewe lambs (250) averaged £61.71 (+£14.03 on the year) and sold to £73.00 gross from Muckernich Farms, Tore.
Texel lambs (1,496) averaged £72.58 and sold to £116 gross from Enyhallow, Conon Bridge.
Suffolk cross lambs (931) averaged £71.45 and sold to £105 gross from Glenurquhart Farm, Cromarty.
Beltex cross lambs (139) averaged £79.94 and sold to £99 gross from Fodderletter Farm, Tomintoul.
Cheviot Mule lambs (140) averaged £73.09 and sold to £90 gross from Auchmore Farm, Muir of Ord.
Mule lambs (437) averaged £72.32 and sold to £82 gross from Polbain house, Achiltibuie.
Other breeds (618) averaged £53.64 and sold to £96 for from Teanahaun Croft, Conon Bridge.
The verdict from the mart: “A wide audience was in force eager to purchase sheep. Longer keep lambs in particular were dearer on the week whilst shorter keep sorts cashed in at comparable rates.”
