A DRESS down day at Ross-shire's largest secondary school has delivered a welcome funding boost for a mental wellbeing charity working across the Highlands.

Pupils at Dingwall Academy raised over £500 for Mikeysline through the effort.

Mikeysline, which carries out outreach work in Ross-shire, later posted: "We are so grateful to Dingwall Academy pupils for holding a Dress Down Day and raising an amazing £510 for Mikeysline. Thank you all so much."

Mikeysline was founded in late 2015 after a tragic number of suicides in the Highland area.

Since then the service has expanded dramatically to offer support to people in emotional distress and struggling with their mental health.
