Dingwall man appears in court on drugs charges

A DINGWALL man has been released on bail following an Inverness Sheriff Court appearance at the end of last week following the alleged recovery of a six-figure sum of drugs in Dingwall.

Shaun Welsh (47), from Dingwall, who faced two charges of being concerned in the supply of drugs, did not appear as scheduled.

It is understood he required to be taken to hospital where he remained overnight and appeared late on Friday afternoon.

He made no plea, was committed for further examination a released until due course of law.
