Dingwall man (27) appears in private on assault and threatening behaviour charges

A 27-year-old Dingwall man appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court on a total of five charges.

Liam Long made no plea to two allegations of assault to injury, two of threatening behaviour and one of police assault, which were said to have taken place in Caithness.

He was committed for further examination and remanded in custody for his next appearance within eight days.
