A HIGHLY rated choir's eagerly anticipated performance at an iconic Ross-shire venue will again feature support from local singers.

The Glasgow Phoenix Choir is making a welcome return to the Highlands after three years' absence and will be performing at Strathpeffer Pavilion on Friday, September 22.

As in the past, the Phoenix has as its special guests Dingwall Gaelic Choir who will this year be joined by Inverness Gaelic Choir under their conductors Ross Brindle and Jamie Macgregor.

The Gaelic choirs have recently combined and will perform this year under the name Eadarainn (Between Us) and will compete at this year's Royal National Mod in Paisley in October.

Tickets for the Pavilion event are £12.50 and £10 (concession) and are available in person from Gaelic choir members, the Spar Shop, Dingwall, High Street (01349 866639), the Pavilion box office or online at www.WeGotTickets.com

Doors open at 7.15pm and the concert commences at 8pm with, organisers say, "a feast of music and song to suit all tastes".
