ACTIVISTS in Dingwall have reached out to those struggling with the coronavirus crisis.

Dingwall Community Council earlier today flagged a food share scheme which was run at the Scout Hall in the county town this afternoon.

Food donations handed in by members of the community were included amongst items available to those in need.

A posting on Dingwall Community Council's Facebook page stated: "If you are struggling, please head down, no questions asked, no referral needed!"

It was due to run from 2pm to 4pm today.

The scheme was also run earlier in the week.
