A ROSS-SHIRE seafood firm has showcased its wares to the King alongside four other processors from the north and north-east.
It has become a tradition of the King, in his previous role as The Duke of Rothesay, to meet Scottish firms to learn about the seafoods they produce.
It has been an appreciated opportunity for these producers to share with His Majesty the challenges they face to keep the seafood supply chain moving.
This is a continuation of tradition dating back to the Queen Mother.

Keltic Seafare buoyed by local support
This year, Keltic Seafare of Dingwall; Messers J Smith of Sandend; G and J Jack of Fraserburgh; GT Seafoods of Peterhead; and Coupar Seafoods of Aberdeen presented a selection of the seafood they supply across domestic and international markets.
Jimmy Buchan, chief executive officer of the Scottish Seafood Association said: “It is an honour to showcase our great seafood, caught by our local fishermen and processed by our members.
“For the King to keep up with his interest in the seafood communities is humbling.”
Given the backdrop of current economic and general market challenges, Mr Buchan said the seafood processors are confident that the future is bright.
