Dingwall Sawmill stalwart bows out after amazing 43-year career

A LONG-ESTABLISHED Dingwall business has bade a fond farewell to a member of staff who has worked with four generations of the family firm.

In his remarkable 43 years with Munro Sawmills in Dingwall, Rhoderick Hubbard has been at the heart of the mill’s action, handling over 380,000 packs of fencing slats.

His hard work and commitment have been key to keeping everything running smoothly, according to the company’s Henry Blake.

Over the years, he worked with and knew four generations of the Munro Sawmills family, significantly shaping the culture and work ethic around him.

As he steps into retirement, everyone at Munro Sawmills wants to say a huge thank you to Rhoderick.Here’s to a well-earned rest, Rhoderick!"

Rhoderick is from Dingwall and has a wife and two children and one grandchild.
