The Dingwall Fire Brigade Community Group was delighted to bag some help from a local store.

The town’s Original Factory Shop donated £237, raised through carrier bag sales, to support the group which hosts regular events and fundraisers.

It was presented to the group last week in the form of a cheque.

The shop picks different charities to raise money for regularly.

Andrew MacIvor, vice chairman of the community group, said: “It was a really nice thing to receive. We will use it for our events if we are allowed to hold them with regards to Covid, and it will go towards helping our infrastructure.

“It’s a good effort from the Factory Shop helping out the local community, as that is what we are all about and it’s a very nice donation to get.”
