Better known for its authentic Chinese cuisine, Dingwall restaurant, Dings is helping Ross-shire residents keep their cool with its brand-new ice cream parlour.

Owner Lily Aquino decided to branch out after her daughter Patricia set up an ice-cream booth for a local fundraiser event in Dingwall Academy which went down a treat with attendees.

Whilst the restaurant is currently closed in response to current Scottish Government guidance, the family felt now was a great time to look at alternative ideas.

Lily stated: “We are very thankful to our lovely customers for keeping us busy with the takeaway. With the restaurant being closed we felt now was a good time to bring something new to our business and an addition to our already popular offering in Dingwall."

The ice cream parlour, stocked by well known Huntly producer Rizza’s, boasts an extensive range of flavours including Biscoff, Nutella, Kinder Bueno and Oreo.

The family hope to add ice cream milk shakes and floats for future customers.

The ice cream parlour will be open during the restaurant's usual takeaway opening hours.
