Dingwall Medical Group shares details of Covid-19 booster jag clinic planned this week – appointments and drop-in availability as programme stepped up

A ROSS-SHIRE medical group is flagging the availability of Covid-19 booster vaccinations before Christmas.

Dingwall Medical Group is offering both appointments and drop-in availability for boosters to all patients over 18 who had their second vaccine at least 12 weeks ago.

Pregnant women can also book in for first, second or booster doses.

The clinic is on Thursday, December 23.

It posted: "To get your vaccine on the day, you can book an appointment to save waiting or come as a drop-in and join the queue."

To book, it asks patients to phone 07803 596071. The line is open Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm and people are asked to be patient as lines are busy. That is the number to book for the Thursday clinic.

It said: "Alternatively, you can come as a drop-in between 10am and 12.30pm and 3pm and 5pm. If there is a long queue we may suggest you book for later in the day and come back at your appointment time to save you waiting outside the Health Centre.

"Please do not phone the normal Health Centre number to make these appointments."

It says the clinic is only open to patients registered with Dingwall Medical Group.
