The colour run is Strathpeffer is a fun, family-friendly event.

A COLOURFUL fundraiser which has proved a big hit in Strathpeffer has been rescheduled for next year.

Strathpeffer Community Centre has staged two colour runs to date, splitting proceeds from the fun events equally between its own coffers and another charity.

The event involves a 5km walk or run with the added excitement of being plastered with a colourful, harmless 'paint' along the way.

The event has been moved to September 5, 2021.

The charity set to benefit this time around is the Crocus Group, which works within Highland Hospice to support young people going through bereavement.

Previous ones were for Mikeysline and Alzheimer Scotland.

The fun, family-friendly event, is supported greatly by volunteers supporting both the centre and each of the charities helping on the day.
