New dates announced as National Whisky Festival set to return to Inverness in July 2023 after successful first edition at Eden Court

A POPULAR whisky festival which premiered this year in Inverness will be back in the Highland capital as new dates have just been announced.

The National Whisky Festival of Scotland will return to Eden Court on July 1 with two sessions lined up for the day.

Tickets for all National Whisky Festival 2023 dates go on sale Wednesday, October 14 at10am at nationalwhiskyfestival.scot.

Festival goers will be able to enjoy whisky and other spirits from Scotland and further afield, as well as sessions with local musicians during the tasting sessions.

The past event saw Eden Court's One Touch Theatre re-purposed to welcome stalls and a stage for performers.

Whisky lovers flocked in the Highland venue to talk to exhibitors and taste drams of all sorts.

In January next year, the festival will be back for its main event in Glasgow, in partnership with the traditional music festival, Celtic Connections, which celebrates its 30th anniversary.
