The club says it is delighted that Dougie Burns and the Cadillacs have agreed to top the bill.

The seven-piece band, which includes a saxophone and harmonica, play original, bluesy rock n’roll guaranteed to make people want to get up and dance.

Rotary Club spokesman Alistair Risk said: “Dougie Burns and the Cadillacs will encourage everyone to have a fun party night.”

Other organisations who have answered a call for performers, are the Golspie Caledonian Pipe Band; Trumble Cheer and Dance; and Strathfleet Buttons and Bows.

Mr Risk added: “After two years of restrictions and missing out on events and entertainment, the club is determined to put on an event that everyone will enjoy."

Tickets go on sale from May 1 at £10 per adult and £15 for children under 15, with toddlers and babies free of charge.

Brora based civil engineering firm Edward Mackay Contractors is a co-sponsor of the event.
