Damage to commercial properties in Easter Ross town of Tain prompts police appeal

EASTER Ross police have issued an appeal after damage caused to two commercial properties in a town.

The Highlands and Islands Division of Police Scotland said: "We are appealing for information in relation to damage caused to two commercial properties on the High Street in Tain between 5.30pm on Friday, December 2 and 8.45am on Saturday, December 3.

"Please call 101 with any information, quoting ref 0794 of 03/12/22."

* On Saturday we reported that police had been called to Harry Gow's in Tain High Street at 6.30am after a damaged window was reported to them.

A polie spokesman said then: "At 6.30am on Saturday we received a report of damage to a window at High Street in Tain. Enquiries are ongoing."
