Gairloch Museum got a visit from Shieldaig Primary School youngsters keen to learn more about how people lived in the past.

In a session led by Gairloch Museum’s wellbeing project co-ordinator, Sarah Wright, the P1-3 class visit “tied in perfectly” with their current topic focused on history.

Shieldaig Primary School teacher, Julia Boger said: “The children really loved visiting the museum, the trip tied in perfectly with our history topic.

“We found out about how we learn things about the past, and how people lived in the past compared to our own lives now. It was a lovely lesson for us all.”
