VISITORS wrapped up warm for a special market event on the Black Isle which helped early birds get some of their Christmas shopping started while supporting a wide variety of small businesses and crafters from across the Highlands.
Crowds gathered at Wildwoodz on the peninsula over the weekend for its final Christmas market of the year.
Hosted by Exclusively Highlands, the market boasted more than 65 stalls of art, craft, food and drink in an atmospheric setting, with visitors from across the Highlands and beyond.
Families and friends turned up to enjoy the festivities and grab a bargain or enjoy a catch-up.
Well-behaved dogs also enjoyed the outdoor fun and people posed with a variety of Christmas-themed props.
The area was lit up with fairy lights and there were Christmas trees all around.
It was the last of eight markets held at the paintballing centre this year, and the rain did not hold visitors back.
Exclusively Highlands will be hosting more markets next year, it said.
