Cromarty Bridge hit by morning rush hour congestion after broken down van reduces crossing to one lane

A BROKEN down van brought disruption to the Cromarty Bridge during Thursday's morning rush hour.

The bridge was reduced to one lane after the vehicle broke down a little after 8am. Police were on scene and directing traffic while the van was recovered from the scene, but traffic still built up in both directions for a time.
