Spring crafts, wildflowers and outdoor walks are being lined up by Highland countryside rangers in Easter Ross to coincide with the Easter school holidays.

On Tuesday, the rangers will be inviting people to them them for a walk on the Brahan estate "and learn some survival skills", when they host a School's Out Survivor event from 10am to 3pm. For details and to book a spot email marcia.o’hara@highlifehighland.com or call 07788 387634.

Then on Wednesday the focus switches to the Muir Hub in Muir of Ord when the rangers will be doing some spring crafts using natural materials.

The materials for the event, which runs from 10am to 12.30pm, will be provided but participants can feel free to bring their own finds.

"This is a drop in event so no need to book," said a spokesperson. "All children must be accompanied by an adult."

And on Friday (April 5) the rangers will be moving to Tain Library for a "Wondrous Wildflowers" event from 2pm to 3.30pm.

"Join the Ranger and the Science Skills Academy for a closer look at some of our beautiful native wildflowers," said a spokesperson.

As before, to book a spot email marcia.o’hara@highlifehighland.com or call 07788 387634.
