Galbraith markets Coigach cottage at the foot of the famous mountain, Stac Pollaidh

A COTTAGE nestled at the foot of one of the far north's most famous peaks has gone on sale.

Linneraineach, a secluded Wester Ross cottage, sits at the foot of Stac Pollaidh amid sheltered mature woodland. The cottage, which includes 35 acres of grounds and a 10-acre island in Loch Lurgainn.

Phiddy Robertson from Galbraith, which is handling the sale, said: "The cottage is surrounded by spectacular scenery and having one’s own island, as well as fishing rights and a boat launch, is a joy."

The building features four bedrooms and a reception room.

Offers over £290,000 are sought.
