The Justice Secretary says there have been fewer problems with people breaching lockdown instructions this weekend compared to last Saturday and Sunday.
Almost 800 dispersal orders were issued last weekend as restrictions on movement were eased for the first time since lockdown was imposed.
At today's Scottish Government briefing Justice Secretary Humza Yousaf said that, although official figures still had to be compiled, the chief constable of Police Scotland had told him he was comfortable with him saying powers had been used "significantly fewer times" this weekend.
Health Secretary Jeane Freeman restated advice that people should not travel more than five miles from home.
She also urged everyone not to flock to beauty spots or rural locations.
"Car parks in these locations remains closed," she said.
"They are closed for a reason, to stop crowding, so please don't ignore that.
"Don't park on verges or at the side of the road as an alternative – that is unsafe – and if where you go is crowded, change your plans and go elsewhere."
The message remains to stay at home most of the time, to not meet more than other household per day and, where those meetings do take place, that they should be outdoors and not involve more than eight people.
Several demonstrations have been taking place across Scotland in response to the death of black man George Floyd in the USA, despite First Minister Nicola Sturgeon asking people not to take part over fears of Covid-19 spreading as a result.
Mr Yousaf voiced his support for the Black Lives Matter movement and those speaking out against racial injustice.
"But the threat of Covid-19 remains with us and that is why I urged people not to attend mass gatherings that are a risk even with social distancing in place," he said.
