Contin sets the scene for Christmas fun with community event

Folk living in Contin are being invited to get into the festive spirit at a special event next weekend.

The Christmas in Contin event planned on Saturday, December 18 runs from noon until 4pm and is open to all ages.

Santa will be walking along to the hall from the station at 2.30pm to join his 'reindeer' and speak to children.

The local community council says food, mulled wine and mince pies will be available from noon.

It plans Christmas music, stalls and a Contin Community Council raffle.
