Volunteers at a community garden in Beauly are inviting the public to explore the site during an open day.

The site, off Croyard Drive, was once an overgrown plot but has now been transformed over the years into a garden flourishing with flowers and vegetables.

The project was initially set up as part of Beauly Cares which provides a range of activities and events for older members of the community.

The garden provides a regular opportunity for people to meet and work together.

People are invited to view its progression at the open day tomorrow between 11am and 3pm.

Refreshments and baking will be available.

Access is via Croyard Drive and the community garden is the third allotment on the left.
