TWO children were taken to hospital for treatment following a Black Isle smash involving a bus and car.

The collision happened on Friday afternoon on the B9161 road which links the Black Isle to the main A9 at Artafallie.

The accident happened near Bogallan around 1.50pm and is understood to have involved a service bus and a car.

Northern Constabulary said later that two children, who were passengers in the car, are receiving treatment for minor injuries at Raigmore Hospital.
