A BLACK Isle eatery is doing a take two on one of its Saturday night lockdown menus after an IT glitch came between some of its customers and their Chicago-themed delights.

The Anderson in Fortrose has been offering takeaway customers a culinary tour of the world during the coronavirus lockdown period while restrictions have prevented its normal opening.

Issues with an online ordering system last weekend have now been resolved and it's planned to again devote Saturday to some of the noted eats of the Windy City.

The Anderson posted: "Hey, Gang, it was broke so we fixed it. I think.

"All seems good now with our online ordering system, which crashed last Saturday and left several citizens with the daunting choice of ordering by telephone or skipping dinner altogether.

"So, I'm proud to announce that – in light of the apparently-successful IT repair – we will repeat our takeaway lockdown menu of amazing Chicago delights this Saturday!"

This will include pierogies, jackfruit potato skins, deep dish pizza, loaded hot dog and Italian beef sandwich, with a number of vegan alternatives.

Host Jim Anderson, who has previously shared the delights of his home city, Philadephia, has also put together a Spotify playlist to get diners in the mood.
