IT'S almost show time for an Easter Ross musical theatre group bringing some familiar toe-tapping tunes to the Tain stage.

Easter Ross Musical Theatre is staging its version of Sunshine on Leith at the Duthac Centre this week from Wednesday until Saturday.

The May 11-14 run of the show represents a joyful return to action for the group which previously staged a well-received Elvis-inspired show, All Shook Up.

This time it's the songs of The Proclaimers getting taking centre stage for a feelgood musical.

The cast is raring to go after rehearsals.

The production group said this week there will be a bar available for every show with doors opening at 6.30pm before curtain up at 7.30pm.

Refreshments will then be served again at the interval.

Tickets available are available from www.ticketsource.co.uk/easter-ross-musical-theatre, by calling 03336663366 or in person at the door from 6.30pm each night.
