THE party at the Craigmonie Hotel was sold out, and guests arrived in their spookiest costumes.

The night was danced away, with a disco followed by live music courtesy of Dark Horse who played for two hours.

Emily Stokes, chief executive officer of Mikeysline, said: "We are delighted to have been able to host this fundraiser and offer a much-needed evening of fun and entertainment to everyone who was able to join us.

"All funds raised through this fundraiser will help us move forward with our plans to develop our service for both adults and young people further, with our aim being to expand our options for face-to-face support in local communities.

"With uncertainties about the future still around, it has been great to have had this opportunity to hold this fundraiser and we are so grateful to all our friends and colleagues for their support, from our sponsors and raffle prize donators to everyone who trusted us to hold a safe and fun event at Halloween."

The evening was hosted by trustee and managing director of Cru Holdings, Scott Murray.

Mr Murray announced awards for volunteers who were acknowledged for all of their hardwork, receiving a bottle of champagne each.

The best dressed on the night, the sloth, was presented with a Café 1 voucher supplied by Highland Industrial Supplies (HIS), who were the main event sponsor.

Gary Mackintosh, company director of HIS, said: “HIS are delighted to continue their support of Mikeysline and the great work that they do. We feel it is imperative that local charities receive the help and support they need to continue to support those that are most in need.

"Throughout the last 18 months, covid has proven just how fragile life can be , now more than ever charities like Mikeysline provide that vital support whilst addressing the stigma around mental health and suicide prevention."

A lucky winner claimed the grand raffle prize of a holiday to Rome, associated with Inverness Travel kindly purchased by Mikeysline.
