Cash box theft from Invergordon caravan prompts appeal from police in Highlands

THE reported theft of a metal cash box from a chalet site in Easter Ross has prompted a public appeal from Highland police.

Police say entry was forced to a caravan at the Invergordon facility between Wednesday night and yesterday evening.

Reports from the courts

Police said: "“Between 9pm on Wednesday, November 16 and 7pm on Friday, November 18 entry was forced to a caravan at the Fairfield Chalet site, Academy Road, Invergordon.

"The caravan was then entered and a metal cash box and contents were stolen from within."

Anyone with any information in relation to the incident or the identity of anyone involved is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident reference number 3180 of November 18.
