Police Scotland officers in the Highlands appeal for information after BMW and Vauxhall cars vandalised in Alness, Ross-shire

A VANDAL is being sought by police after cars were damaged in Alness.

The incident occurred sometime between 6.30am on Friday, December 18 and 11.30am on Saturday, December 19.

"Unknown person(s) have entered the car parking area within the front garden of 192 Milnafua, Alness, and damaged two vehicles, namely a silver BMW motor car, ML61UKU, and white Vauxhall Corsa motor car, SH18UVD," said a police spokesman.

"Deep scratch marks have been caused to both vehicles.
